
Rachael T. Whitney, PhD, is the Lead Statistician for the COG-HSR Program. She performs data management activities and conducts statistical analyses for the National Institutes of Health (NIH)-funded BP COG study, MCI DeM study and the STROKE COG study.
Dr. Whitney received her Doctorate in Applied Physiology from the University of Delaware in 2019, where she examined associations between cardiovascular and cognitive health in older adults from the Maine Syracuse Longitudinal Study.
She finds statistical analysis to be the most engaging element of the research process and enjoys exploring issues of health and aging.
